Who gets two tickets in one day? I mean seriously: who does that?!
Story:
My hope here is that, as I appeal both, two separate arbiters will show me grace, unbeknownst to each other, and accept both of my appeals. Slim chance, but hey, I can dream.
Also, check out the Central [Alpha as of Oct. 5] Flock Website, with which Lighthouse has entrusted me. I finally have a server with which I can go php crazy, though I won't just because it'll be impossible to maintain if I go too crazy. Right now the page is just a sketch of what will be. But go Central or go Home!
Story:
CCM morning prayer went smoothly, with me arriving on < 5 hrs. of sleep, late, and looking like I just exited my bed as usual. Jong delivered a devotional which he learned he had to make the night before, but nobody could tell - it was good stuff. After morning prayer, we all went out to our cars and lo and behold, the ticket fairy had visited all of our cars, parked at metered stalls with no money in the meter.
We were all bumming, but I saw opportunity. I figured: "hey, I have a ticket, which means I have a free parking pass anywhere the rest of the day." So, I parked in another metered stall at around 10 am. I went along my merry way, going to my meeting, lunch, and lab. I came back to my car a little before 4 pm and discovered that, indeed, the ticket fairy is heartless enough to double my joy and give me another parking ticket for the same violation!

i got two tickets in one day once too!! I also got four in the span of 3 days. that was a bad week.
